Religion, Why do you pull them away
With your false doctrines and confused teachings
You know that I am what they need,
Yet you still fight so aggressively against me
You isolate them from a relationship with God
While confining them to the incarceration of religiosity.
You know the Word says “In spirit and truth”
But from the pulpit, you preach the opposite
Relationship, do you not see it?
The people demand tangibility
They deserve for the weight of walking by faith is lifted
So I assist them.
I make way for shortcuts on the straight and narrows
They love me for that
I make their walk with God understandable,
I have been at this for years,
And I come back by popular demand
What makes you think I will loosen my group now?
Religion, Don’t be so cocky about your accomplishments
Our father sees your works and is coming with judgment
You have preached people into
Fostering fornication and adultery in their relationship with God
Lying to them that its ok to meet sinful fleshly needs
So they cheat on God with porn and masturbation
They honor distraction and suppression
Instead of laying it at His feet
Ohh Woe be onto them!
For you have walked them into their death
Those who follow you will feel the depth of its sting
I did nothing wrong, I am just doctrine
That “anointed ones”, “your called ones”, “your children” chose to adopt,
Then incubate and reproduce
Am I to blame?
Where is their loyalty to God?
Rather they enjoy being on unholy Saturday
And lead praise and worship on Sunday
They enjoy singing and sinning
I give the people what they enjoy.
The world is cold so I give them warmth.
You say I deceived them,
But I ask, can I deceive someone who is truly grounded in His teachings?
Talk to your people, not Religion.
I have reached out to the people
But they will only find me
When they leave the bosom of you, my opposing rivalry.
God is calling them to a commitment with Him
But you have become puppet master
To the children of the Highest God
And then you broadcast them to the world
Through the lens of religiosity
Which conformed the world to have religious practices
As the foundation of their relationship with God
James 4:8 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
